Description: This farm is ideal for corporate groups, or family and friends who are looking for good hunting combined with five star accommodations and home cooked meals—all without breaking the bank. The owner, born and raised near this spot, built this dream home/bed and breakfast several years ago and combined it with his love of dogs and hunting. Realizing that most clients have their own dogs and don't need a guide he offers several packages from basic unguided, to fully guided with meals and lodging. It is important to note that the owner has good dogs and guides and should a group like to hire a guide just for a single day, this is the only farm we have where hunters can do that. The owners wife does all the cooking and we can attest from personal experience that the meals are more than good, they are fantastic!
Committed to quality wild pheasant hunting, this operation has been working on food plots, cover crops and shelter belts for some time now and the results are paying off.

Lodging Information: Motel lodging available in Pierre, SD
Distance From Lodging to Farm: approx. 30 miles miles.
Description: If you bought a section in South Dakota and managed it for pheasants this is exactly how you would do it. The southern property line has an old, well established evergreen grove of trees that not only provide necessary winter cover to help birds survive, but creates fantastic hunting in the season. Put a hunter on either side, dogs in the middle and a blocker on the end and it may be the only spot on the section you will have to hunt. The middle of the property has a live creek/spring/slough that grows up in weeds and runs through the low spots on the property providing cover and water. The rest of the section is surrounded by crop fields. If the spring allows, the farmer may also plant food plots for additional hunting. For hunters looking to also hunt Sharptails and chickens this would be an idea spot to hunt for three days then travel to the National Grasslands (an hour a way) to extend their stay on their own.
