This farm, has three square sections (about 2,000 acres, including some pasture). There are about 800 acres of CRP, food plots, plus the creek bottom, some sloughs and tree rows.

This gem of a farm is in the Roscoe area with managed land for pheasant hunting. This farm is a true working farm with lots and lots of crop land, mainly corn and beans, however there is still more than enough unfarmed land to make this place a gem. Cattail filled sloughs hold birds all season, and help them survive even tough winters. There are multiple dugouts with long grass and trees as well as a creek winding for miles through the property.

The land is managed for pheasant hunting first, crops second—tons of cover, dozens of tree rows, food plots, sloughs, some crops. This property has recently been expanded with additional quality cover and shelter belts! There are now over 600 acres of undisturbed pheasant cover which include grassland CRP, shelterbelt CRP, dugouts, hay land and sloughs.

Habitat, habitat, and more habitat. This 2500 acre ranch was awarded the Izaak Walton League “Wildlife Habitat Award” for the owner's work in developing cover. Land has 400 acres of CRP, three miles of fenced-out creek bottoms dedicated to wildlife. Tree plantings started in 1992 and to date there are 25 shelter belts encompassing over 60 acres.

5,000 acres of farm ground with creeks, cattail sloughs, stock dams and native grasses. Then to make it better they planted 1200 acres of CRP added 50 acres of shelter belts and 40 acres of food plots around those shelter belts. Trust me you will have fun.
